General Manager Motel 6 / Studio 6 3701 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our establishment in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining, and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff training, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality management. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage shifts, budgets, and culinary operations while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency. Supervise and train staff in culinary techniques, customer service, and operational procedures to enhance team performance. Manage food preparation processes to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Develop and manage budgets, including cost control measures to optimize profitability. Implement effective shift management practices to ensure smooth transitions between service periods. Foster a positive guest experience by addressing customer feedback and implementing improvements as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu offerings that align with current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, preferably within the fine dining sector. Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food preparation techniques. Demonstrated ability in staff training and development, with a focus on enhancing team performance. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Proficient in budgeting and financial management within the food industry context. Exceptional communication skills with a strong emphasis on guest relations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary for operational needs.
