The Pool & Beach Assistant Manager supports the Pool & Beach Manager with the management of the pool and beach operations, as well as the leadership of the recreation team (15-18 direct reports). This role responds to a wide variety of guest and resident requests by accurately assessing their needs and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. The Pool & Beach Assistant Manager’s demeanor must be reflective at all times of the highest standards of professionalism exemplified by the Four Seasons brand. A consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all aspects of the operation, an outgoing personality, a high degree of flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are ideal characteristics for this role. Additionally, this role is empowered and encouraged to develop at every opportunity, management skills relating to guest interaction, concern handling as well as logistical problem solving, staff development, product, and service enhancement. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The qualified candidate will possess the following: At least 1 – 2 years of recreation, food and beverage, or hospitality experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Demonstrated leadership experience. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills:

ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Opera, and Micros preferred/is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests. Flexible schedule; ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends and holidays. Miscellaneous US work authorization is required.
