JOB SUMMARY
Calling all F&B Managers – Come and be a part of leadership team that is launching Pour Taproom in Jacksonville! Help us execute Jacksonville’s largest self-pour taproom (over 80 taps), with an indoor/outdoor cocktail bar, pub fare, live music, games, and private events all in over 7,000 sq ft in the heart of downtown Jax! The Front of House Manager’s overall responsibility is to assist the General Manager in leading an exciting customer and employee experience that drives overall store performance and sales. We are hiring 3 Managers with a focus in one or more of these areas: Bar Management, Events Management, General Floor/Taproom Management The ideal candidates will be hiring and leading FOH staff, maintaining self-pour draft wall & draft system, managing inventory, event execution, and cocktail bar program. You will exude dependability, trustworthiness, hard work, and be a quick learner. Candidates are expected to provide excellent customer service and put forth full effort and focus to achieve high performance standards with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned as needed.) General FOH Management Work with GM in Identifying, Recruiting, Hiring, and Retaining top talent. Lead by example and set the standard of Team Performance. Coordinate FOH and BOH to accomplish daily shift duties. Coordinate with General Manager to set actionable goals for the staff to execute. Excel in personal customer service, conflict resolution, and selling skills. Consistently coach your team and build employee knowledge base by engaging in employee training, continuous education, and effective delegation of tasks. Proactively recognize performance issues and communicate details to Store Manager to take corrective actions needed. Partner with Store Manager on action plans based on staff responsibilities to exceed goals/plan for each day. Maintain a clean, friendly and welcoming environment for guests at all times Engage with the public on behalf of the taproom and answer any questions about the company. Provide patrons with an adequate understanding of the concepts, menu items, and workability of technology to enhance patron experience and ultimately sales. Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. Drive employee engagement. Maintain high level of personal integrity (e.g. adhering to Loss Prevention practices and policies, work published schedule, accurate timekeeping records, etc.) and expects the same of their team. Understand and exhibit exceptional knowledge of the technologies, beers, ciders, wines and food items. Maintain neat, clean, and organized total store environment. Ensure that the taproom and walk-in cooler are clean and organized. Change and replace kegs while keeping cooler and Untappd.com updated/organized. Meet or exceed sanitary compliance standards set forth by state/city standards. Uphold staff to a clean, uniformed appearance for every shift. Assist setting up events. Potential areas of

Respond promptly to event-specific inquiries to provide communication, pricing and set dates. Serve as primary Host for events – warmly greeting guests and ensuring the party has everything they need for a successful event. Give facility tours to prospective event customers and work with them on a plan of execution based on party size, menu selections, etc. Work with Store Manager for event pricing and staffing for events. Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve overall customer experience. Promote the brand in the local community through social media and set-up, plan, execute events with brewery / distribution reps. Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. marketing and social media ads).
Cocktail Bar Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including staffing, scheduling, and service standards Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, ensuring excellent performance and adherence to company policies Develop and maintain the bar menu, including seasonal cocktails and promotions Monitor inventory levels; order supplies and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as local alcohol laws Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to promote product knowledge and service excellence Track sales and prepare reports on bar performance, labor, and inventory costs Collaborate with marketing and events teams to plan and execute bar-related promotions and special events
