Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Varsity Manager The Varsity Manager provides direct supervision to kitchen supervisors, staff, and students assigned to Varsity. The Manager oversees all production and meal serving in the Varsity dining facility, Grab N Go, and the Bakery. The Manager ensures excellent customer service, safety and sanitation, and proper reporting. Supervise Production
Oversee and train supervisors and staff in the proper production of food items. Provide production schedules and assignments to serve meals. Prepare food as close to serving time as possible. Ensure that all equipment is utilized and in good working order for employees. Ensure Excellent Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that meals are served fresh with the best presentation. Meet or exceed expectations for applicable temperatures and quality by providing proper procedures and supervision. Verify proper food handling in storage, preparation, and receiving. Ensure Safety and Sanitation
Ensure that all employees are trained in food preparation that meets or exceeds industry standards for safety and sanitation. Create benchmarks and follow-up systems to ensure success. Provide a clean, organized, and orderly environment for both employees and customers. Maintain Reporting and Feedback
Provide useful information to continue improvement for customer service and efficiency. Use all applicable forms to report food usage, maintenance needs, and recipe improvements. Provide timely follow up with employee discipline and performance evaluations. Work within plate cost guidelines and labor allocation to demonstrate good management principles and leadership. Hospitality Work Experience Required Experience:

1+ years in management, 2+ years in high volume production

Preferred Experience:

5+ years in college dining management Physical Requirements and Skills Ability to lift 20+ pounds, Basic Math, Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, CBORD Software, Microsoft Office, Stress Management Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
