This includes financial performance, employee management, and ensuring a positive guest experience. They are effectively the “scaled-down CEO” of their location, overseeing daily operations and ensuring strategic goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Maximize profit, develop and execute business plans (including fiscal responsibilities), and monitor restaurant finances.
Employee Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, including servers, hosts, and other employees. Hold employees accountable for performance, address performance issues, and enforce labor laws.
Customer Experience:
Ensure a positive and hospitable environment for guests, maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety, and uphold company food safety standards.
Operations :
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, streamlining restaurant processes, and managing inventory.
Marketing:
Identify and develop local marketing strategies to maximize sales, and execute company-wide marketing programs.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree being preferable. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a team. Experience in restaurant management and financial management. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
