Assistant Medical Office Manager Florida Sports Injury and Orthopedic Institute 1925 Don Wickham Drive, Clermont, FL 34711 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical management, with a focus on fiscal management and compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs efficiently while providing high-quality care to our patients. The Medical Office Manager will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating patient services, and maintaining a positive environment for both employees and patients. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and training programs to enhance team effectiveness. Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Ensure accurate billing practices and manage fiscal responsibilities to maintain financial health. Coordinate patient care services, including appointment scheduling and follow-up communications. Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery in acute and critical care settings. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with staff and patients regarding care processes. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a hospital setting. Strong understanding of fiscal management principles as they relate to healthcare operations.
