The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service quality, and maintaining a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various aspects of food service and kitchen operations. Understanding of weekly/monthly cost analysis and monitoring hourly labor cost is essential. Duties Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations of the establishment, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Help Oversee kitchen management, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Train and develop staff in hospitality best practices, food handling procedures, and cash handling protocols. Manage inventory levels and potentially help order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance among staff members. Utilize Toast POS system for effective cash handling and transaction management and Functionality of orders. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Qualifications Proven experience in a management role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food handling and safety regulations. Experience with staff training and development to enhance team performance. Proficiency in cash handling procedures and familiarity with point-of-sale systems, specifically Aloha POS. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic hospitality setting.
