The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, food safety, and team leadership. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing training and development to ensure high performance. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in a kitchen management role within a restaurant or casual dining environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in catering services is a plus. Ability to train and develop team members effectively. Proficient in budgeting and cost control within a culinary setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bartending experience is an advantage but not required.
