Full-time Household Couple or House Manager job offer in Longboat Key, Florida, US We are seeking a dedicated and experienced household couple to manage and maintain a private residence in beautiful Longboat Key, Florida, US . This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented couple to become an integral part of maintaining home to the highest standards. The ideal candidates will be flexible, trustworthy, and possess a strong work ethic, capable of both independent work and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities The responsibilities will be divided between the couple, leveraging their individual strengths and experience. The following is a general overview of the expected duties:

Housekeeping:

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the entire residence. Daily tasks including making beds, tidying rooms, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. Deep cleaning on a regular schedule, including bathrooms, kitchens, windows, and floors. Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding. Managing household supplies and informing principals when restocking is needed. Caring for delicate items and ensuring their proper handling.

Chef/Cooking:

Preparing healthy and delicious daily meals for the principals during their visits. Planning menus in advance, considering dietary preferences and restrictions. Grocery shopping and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Preparing for and serving meals during gatherings and entertaining. Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.

Property Management & Maintenance:

Overseeing and managing all aspects of the property’s upkeep and maintenance. Liaising with external vendors (e.g., landscaping, pool service, HVAC, plumbers, electricians) and ensuring their work is completed to satisfaction. Monitoring and maintaining pool systems, ensuring proper chemical balance and cleanliness. Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, basic carpentry). Moving patio seasonal furniture as needed. In addition to moving furniture to private beach area. Identifying and reporting any significant maintenance issues or potential problems to the principals promptly. Managing household security systems and ensuring the property is secure. Maintaining outdoor areas, including patios and walkways, ensuring they are clean and presentable. Organizing and maintaining storage areas. Chauffeuring and running errands as needed (e.g., dry cleaning, post office). Requirements Proven experience working as a household couple in a private residence. Excellent references from previous employers. Strong work ethic, reliability, and trustworthiness. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as a team. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility to accommodate the live-in schedule during the principals’ visits. Valid driver’s licenses and clean driving records. Knowledge of basic household maintenance and repair. Culinary skills and experience in preparing a variety of meals. Discreet and respectful of the principals’ privacy. Work conditions
