Job Description

  • General Manager
Description:

Hampton Inn & Suites Ocala is currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel General Manager Immediately.

  • Hilton GM certificate preferred but not required .
  • (2) Years of GM experience preferred
  • -Managing day-to-day operations of the hotel, including all operational aspects, budgeting, forecasting, reporting requirements, and financial management. Successful candidate will comply with any Hilton brand requirements, and achieve satisfactory inspection scores.
  • -Formulating and implementing an ongoing marketing strategy designed to maximize hotel revenues.
  • -Providing a positive, secure working environment for employees, including the creation of goals and objectives for each position, as well as regular feedback on the progress towards such goals. Providing guests with very position overall experience, resulting in high guest satisfaction.
    Job Requirements
  • The successful applicant must have ” hands-on” ability to oversee all daily hotel operations, treating the hotel as if it were their own. This will include but not be limited by the following:
  • Hire, train and develop team members. Follow-up with existing staff to ensure they are providing superior guest service and meeting or exceeding quality standards.
  • Be responsible for generating new and repeat business through sales and marketing activities.
  • Deliver exemplary guest satisfaction and service. Be the example, set the bar.
  • Ensure property is maintained to the high standards of the brand, Management Company and owner. Daily physical and visual tours.
  • Monitor cost controls to maximize profit.
  • Monitor cleanliness of property and product.
  • Participate in community affairs and maintain a positive public image for the property. Meet with potential and current clients to promote the property.
  • Develop and maintain staff programs to increase guest and staff satisfaction.
  • Advise Management Company of all issues requiring guidance and approval.
  • Monitor, evaluate and improve employee training programs. Develop personnel for advancement within the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
