Job Summary:
The Manager will assist the General Manager with overseeing the day-to-day functions in the restaurant and administering company policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Trains new team members. Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of staff in the restaurant. Assists the Manager with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, food quality, service, and cleanliness. Resolves guest issues as needed. Assists in increasing profits and minimizing losses. Manages inventory and labor (including scheduling) and resolves maintenance issues. Maintains a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff by adhering to the Mellow Mushroom standards for safety and sanitation.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent leadership skills. Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so. Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
