This role ensures smooth execution of safeguard services, crew repatriation, and terminal security. The position also serves as a critical point of coordination between Field Supervisors, officers, and clients, while upholding company policies, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Essential Functions Operational Support & Compliance Assist in overseeing security operations at assigned ports, ensuring adherence to company SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Verify compliance with CBP, TSA, Homeland Security, and port authority regulations. Manage crew repatriation logistics and compliance with CBP Form I-259 procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor officer performance using tracking tools. Confirm validity of officer credentials (e.g., TWIC, TSA, security licenses). Support operational planning and efficiency improvement initiatives. Personnel Management & Training Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling officers and Field Supervisors. Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure daily assignments are clear and compliant. Support ongoing training and coaching for officers on compliance and conduct. Address personnel concerns and recommend performance improvements. Participate in evaluations and corrective action processes as needed. Client Relations & Quality Control Act as a liaison between officers and clients to ensure service standards are met. Maintain communication with cruise lines and port stakeholders to address needs. Gather and analyze client feedback to guide service improvements. Participate in performance review meetings with key clients. Scheduling & Logistics Coordination Assist in creating and adjusting deployment schedules for full shift coverage. Coordinate officer transportation logistics for crew escort assignments. Monitor on-call staff for emergency or last-minute deployments. Incident Response & Emergency Management Respond to and document security incidents; escalate major issues as needed. Ensure accurate incident reporting and follow-up. Coordinate with supervisors during emergencies and implement contingency plans. Maintain detailed records of incidents and recommend preventive strategies. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or maritime security. Strong knowledge of CBP, TSA, Homeland Security, and port security regulations. Valid Florida Class D Security License, TWIC, and TSA clearance. Experience managing teams, developing schedules, and providing field supervision. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Proficient in digital tracking, scheduling, and reporting systems. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions Work is performed at ports and other outdoor locations; exposure to weather elements is expected. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods. May require travel between port locations using company or personal vehicles. On-call availability may be required for emergencies or last-minute assignments.
