The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards while creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. Responsibilities Manage daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste. Develop and manage budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service. Handle cash management processes, including cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours and special events. Create innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any concerns promptly. Train staff on bartending techniques, cocktail preparation, and customer service best practices. Coordinate catering services for private events or special occasions held at the venue. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices within a bar or restaurant setting. Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the hospitality industry. Excellent budgeting skills with a focus on maximizing profitability while ensuring quality service. Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Ability to train and develop staff effectively to enhance team performance. Experience in catering services is a plus, particularly in managing events at hotels or restaurants. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster a positive team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of bar management.
