We are searching for a talented Events and Catering Manager with prior experience for our Corporate office in Miami Beach. Motek, is part of Happy Corner Hospitality Collective, is an Israeli-Mediterranean concept restaurant that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences to our valued customers. Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operations, and we’re currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team. The Events Catering Manager oversees the planning and execution of catering services for events, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and seamless operations. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating with culinary and service teams, and handling logistics to deliver high-quality catering experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting the unique needs of each event. Ultimately, you will ensure that we run efficient catering facilities and help increase our clientele.

Client Coordination:

Gather customer requirements, including event details such as the number of guests, dates, and specific needs. Arrange and conduct food tastings with potential customers to finalize menu selections.

Menu Planning:

Design food and beverage menus based on clients’ preferences and special requests, such as dietary restrictions or healthy meal options for children. Ensure that all menu options align with the company’s quality standards and client expectations.

Resource Management:

Determine ingredient requirements, set portion sizes, and ensure proper allocation of resources for each event. Manage inventory, oversee stock levels, and place orders as necessary to maintain seamless operations.

Team Management:

Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage for events. Train, supervise, and manage wait staff and kitchen personnel to deliver excellent customer service and uphold operational standards.

Event Oversight:

Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service during events to ensure a smooth execution. Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues that arise.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times. Monitor and report on expenses, providing insights to improve cost-efficiency.

Customer Satisfaction:

Build strong relationships with clients by delivering high-quality services that exceed their expectations and a ddress and resolve any client concerns or feedback promptly Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements  High school diploma or equivalent (required).  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).  3+ years of experience as a Catering Manager, Event Manager, or similar role.  Hands-on experience with menu planning, budgeting, and team supervision.  Strong leadership and team management skills.  Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Proficiency with catering management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.  Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.  Financial skills, including budgeting and cost control.
