ROLE SUMMARY
Delilah Miami is seeking a General Manager with extensiveexperience in fine dining and high-volume establishments. TheGeneral Manager provides comprehensive leadership to staff withemphasis on operations, food and service quality, peopledevelopment, hospitality, cleanliness, and profitability. They willwork closely with the Human Resource department to ensure adequatestaffing, completion of all onboarding procedures, reporting anyonsite injuries, etc. The ideal candidate will be energetic, wellorganized, flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Respond to guest concerns, both written and verbal with theability to creatively solve problems and develop robustsolutions Ensure compliance of all local, state, and federal laws andregulations Control operational costs and monitor departmental budget Ensure proper and professional communication with Executivesand Human Resources Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed withincompany guidelines and standards Conduct meetings and training sessions to ensure effectiveworkforce management and ensure that service standards areimplemented Manage staff performance including providing regularperformance feedback and final termination recommendations whennecessary Ensure that all staff injuries are reported at the time ofinjury Ensure all day-to-day operations are running smoothly andefficiently Oversee Assistant General Manager and Floor Manager to ensurevenue efficiency and growth Assist with new candidate interviews and notify recruitmentteam of any open positions Other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a full-service, high-volumedining establishment Must have Manager Food Handlers Card and Responsible BeverageService Training Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing,and motivating a team Must be able to manage multiple tasks in stressfulenvironments Strong knowledge of front and back house operations Great decision making and organizational skills Upbeat and energetic attitude Responsible and trustworthy Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hourswith frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, andobjects up to 30lbs.
