Job Description

Restaurant Manager 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 1118 South Dixie Highway, Coral Gables, FL 33146 Moon Thai & Japanese Restaurant Looking for reliable, hard working person with experience in invoice processing, supply audits, and attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. As an Assistant Manager for this company, responsibilities include but are not limited to; scheduling both Front of the House and Back of the House to up to 20 staff members in a timely matter. Weekly inventory audits as well as ordering with several different distributors for seafood, dry food, produce, equipment, supplies and non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine. Daily tasks include; reviewing server cash-out reports to properly compensate server/bartending staff, transaction voids and edits, handling customer questions/concerns/complaints in a professional and procedural manner, stepping into any position such as food running, expediting, dishwashing, bussing and order taking if necessary, as well as inputting daily expenses and sales into excel spreadsheets for upper management. Implement and monitor the sales of new delivery services such as UberEats, Door Dash and the menu pricing edits for the location. Working hand-in-hand with our Toast systems to solve system shutdowns, menu edits and the addition of new staff members. Hiring and training Front of the House staff and ensuring their product knowledge of all seasonal menu changes are up to company standards. Preparing for pre-shift and post-shift staff meetings, articulating the importance of menu knowledge and beverage knowledge as well as sales incentives. Lastly, opening and closing the restaurant according to the Moon Thai Manager Checklists and Employee Manager Manuals.
