Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fine dining Japanese restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. payroll and inventory knowledge Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and budget management. Skills Strong background in food preparation and handling within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proven experience in supervising staff and managing a team effectively. Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in restaurant management is preferred. Knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to foster a positive work atmosphere among staff.
