Vino is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side. We are hiring passionate and dedicated individuals to join our growing Miami team! As a valuable addition to our team, you must ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of upscale dining restaurant
Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards
Develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance and profitability
Ensure policies are upheld
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with chefs to ensure efficient food production and delivery
Manage budgets and control costs to maximize revenue
Offer and inspire exemplary guest service Other responsibilities to ensure ease of operations

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-3 years in a management role in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
Culinary certificate or comparable experience working in culinary roles preferred
Previous experience performing new restaurant opening responsibilities such as training and motivating new employees into a high-performing team and implementing new systems, policies, and procedures strongly preferred Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves – a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team! Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadership
Experience managing large scale restaurants a plus
