Food & Beverage Manager – Quick Service Chefs de France – Epcot Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 Chefs de France in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is seeking a Front of the House F&B Manager to work in our Quick Service Food & Beverage locations in the French pavilion located in the heart of Central Florida’s premier theme park. Chefs de France follows a 40 year tradition of providing authentic French cuisine to our guests. The Manager is responsible for managing all functions of the Food & Beverage locations during operating hours. Key responsibilities include leading, coaching and training our employees while ensuring a high level of guest experience and business knowledge. The ideal candidate must be able to: Work independently and on a team Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Exercise discretion, independent judgment and follow-through in decision-making processes. Demonstrate excellent organizational, financial, communication, and problem solving skills. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations. Effectively communicates with management and staff in order to address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees. Ensures the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs, monitor attendance, guest flow, and weather. Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures and all local, state and federal regulations, including safety and security; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Perform all opening and closing duties according to the specific standards and make sure all employees are doing the same. Ensuring all equipment and supplies are clean and maintained in good working order. Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for employees/guests Monitor food and beverage quality, execution, and stock. Prepare and receive orders of food and beverages according to inventory to ensure proper levels are stocked and to assess ordering patterns and change Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Provide employees training, feedback, motivation, coaching, and discipline to improve performance, both positive and negative when required. Demonstrates strong leadership, teamwork, and guest service skills. Facilitate employee recognition Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leadership.
