Exempt Summary The general manager is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations, functions and processes while ensuring cleanliness, safety and providing over-the-top guest service. This position requires full availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Essential Functions
- Lead all staff by, directing, coaching, counseling, disciplining.
- Ensuring food is cooked and plated to order per specifications.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by interacting with guests and resolving any issues.
- Ensure the integrity and operational functionality of all POS systems and equipment.
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are operational and working properly.
- Utilize scheduling system to ensure balanced results, delivering great food and service while achieving business targets
- Ensure training for all team members is carried out in an efficient and thorough manner.
- Maintain inventory control delivering on COS targets
- Ensure payroll is submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure proper cash handling, deposits, and change orders are completed. This job description reflects the position’s essential functions; it does not encompass all of the tasks that may be assigned. Qualifications Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of full-service restaurant management experience.
- Experience leading the FOH and BOH teams in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and collected under high pressure scenarios
- Strong knowledge of BBQ, craft beer, and hospitality.
- SERV Safe Certification a plus. Skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
- Ability to remain alert and focused on an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
- Ability to work effectively with all departments.
- Detail-oriented and thorough. Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, or any other movement required for extended periods of time.
- Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environments.
