Description Assistant General Manager Overview:

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations and strategic growth of our cafes. You will uphold our commitment to exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and a people-oriented workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic acumen, and a dedication to nurturing talent and building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across multiple cafe locations. Ensure adherence to operational standards, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with cafe managers to maintain high standards of product quality, consistency, and presentation.

Team Leadership and Development:

Assist in recruiting, training, and managing a team of cafe managers and staff. Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment that empowers employees to deliver exceptional customer service. Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance and individual growth.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Work closely with the General Manager to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion. Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction:

Ensure a customer-first approach across all cafes, promoting a culture of service excellence. Address customer feedback and concerns promptly, striving to exceed customer expectations. Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Financial Management:

Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability. Monitor financial performance metrics and take proactive measures to achieve financial targets.

Communication and Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and community partners. Communicate effectively with the General Manager and senior management team to align on goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry, managing multiple locations. Strong understanding of operational management, customer service principles, and financial acumen. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive results in a dynamic environment.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
