Job Description:

We are seeking an Assistant Pool & Beach Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the respective pools and beach area to include: staffing, training, scheduling employees, planning & coordinating all activities to ensure efficient operation of the F&B department. The ideal candidate will produce quality experiences which exceeds the guests’ expectations and hotel standards, delivered in a friendly and professional manner. All candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Minimum 4-year(s) experience as a Food & Beverage or Recreation Manager. Food handling certificate. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service. (desired) Certification in C.P.R. ( desired)

Essential Skills:

Must possess strong Leadership qualities. Ability to understand guests’ service needs. Ability to thrive during very high levels of business. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to access and input information into Micros system. Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage to guests. Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
