Bar Manager/Service Manager Confidential Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a fast-paced casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Oversee all bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, and ordering supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service. Train and supervise bar staff in customer service best practices and operational procedures. Develop and implement creative drink menus that enhance the guest experience. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area to provide a welcoming environment. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage pairings for events or special occasions. Requirements Proven experience in bar management or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of service. Experience in banquet service is a plus, as well as knowledge of casual dining environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
