Planning, directing, overseeing and coordinating activities of food and beverage department. Keeping records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies. Investigating and resolving complaints regarding food quality or service. Maintaining food and equipment inventories, and keeping inventory records. Scheduling and receiving food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Coordinating assignments of food preparation personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Monitoring compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in dining facilities. Establishing standards for personnel performance and customer service. Scheduling staff hours and assigning duties. Reviewing menus and analyzing recipes to determine labor and overhead costs, and assigning prices to menu items. Organizing and directing worker training programs, resolving personnel problems, hiring new staff, and evaluating employee performance in dining facilities. Reviewing work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. Assessing staffing needs and recruiting staff, using methods such as newspaper advertisements or attendance at job fairs. Monitoring budgets and payroll records, and reviewing financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Scheduling use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangements with members and guests. Will supervise employees. Must have 2 years experience as a Food Service Manager, or as a Server or as a Server Captain, or related occupation in High End Country Club Setting. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
