Full Job Description Overview:

Zara Mediterranean Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Manager to lead and oversee our dining room operations. As a key member of the leadership team, the FOH Manager will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, supervising front-of-house staff, and ensuring smooth daily service. We’re looking for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a clear understanding of restaurant service standards, especially in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all front-of-house operations, including host, server, and support staff Hire, train, and supervise FOH team members to maintain top-tier service and professionalism Oversee daily shift operations, floor plans, and table management Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless communication and timely service Monitor staff performance and implement coaching or disciplinary measures as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests Manage reservations and waitlists using POS/CRM platforms (e.g., Toast, OpenTable, Yelp) Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Report directly to ownership and participate in weekly operational meetings

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Front of House leadership role (e.g., FOH Manager, Floor Manager, Lead Server) Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service techniques Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume restaurant Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with POS and reservation systems (Toast, OpenTable, Yelp, etc.) Fluent in English (bilingual Spanish a plus) Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or management training is a plus We’re looking for someone who is not just a manager, but a leader with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
