ABOUT THE ROLE

: The Meal Plating Assistant Manager assists the Manager with ensuring the team members fulfill their goals of plating food items/ingredients in accordance with our best in class plating guides. This is a critical role in making sure every customer finds our products appealing and consistent. Our work schedules include working weekends, 40 hours per week paid weekly via direct deposit. We provide the uniform at no cost to employees. In addition, all of our meals are fresh non-frozen meals, which requires assembly in a refrigerated room (32-40F degrees ) for the duration of the shift. Daily Tasks include and are not limited to the following: Builds & establishes a strong team with a leadership pipeline; coaches and develops talent within each functional area of the department Ensures all safety and sanitation practices are upheld with a no compromise standard Drives constant improvement when it comes to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery Ensures adequate communication of company goals and priorities Observant with paying great attention to detail, ensuring meal platers follow strict recipes and plating guides Develops high standards for execution to meet all KPI’s & financial metrics while supporting your team in achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals Extremely clean and organized ensuring plating rooms are always clean. Positive motivator by engaging in a team setting Ensures all ingredients are put onto meal container with proper placement per plating guide Ensures correct portions are plated in accordance with the Ideal Nutrition plate guides Ensures ingredients plated are as fresh as possible

Requirements:

Flexible availability is required, with work hours ranging from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and weekend availability is a must. 3+ years of supervisory experience, in any field, preferably in manufacturing or food production Bilingual (Spanish / English) skills required Basic mathematical skills and ability to calculate at a rapid pace Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance with Ideal Nutrition standards Ability to supervise and communicate to different audiences Knowledge of Food Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, and Fulfillment Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage a large team – our culture is a critical part of our success, and you are directly responsible for driving it Demonstrated success at delivering new product initiatives Ability to learn new systems and schedule team accordingly Inventory management experience

Preferred AA Degree Physical Requirements:

Standing up to 9+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., working in cold environment at all times (32F-40F) , reaching, pulling, repetitive use of hands
