Position Summary:

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations in Plato Academy Trinity. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient service. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional meals. The Kitchen Manager will oversee food preparation, inventory management, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations. Oversee daily food preparation, quality control, and presentation of all meals. Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are strictly followed. Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control food costs. Prepare schedules and delegate tasks to maintain a productive and positive team environment. Collaborate with SLA Management’s culinary team to uphold quality and consistency in menu items. Address any issues with kitchen operations promptly and implement corrective measures. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure all equipment is in good working order.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards. Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and commitment to fostering a positive work culture. Proficiency in inventory management and food cost control.
