Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. The General Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring that our customers receive top-quality service, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, manage the kitchen and front of house staff, ensure that sales and profitability targets set by owner are met and constant training of staff for excellence.
Responsibilities:
(but not limited to) Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, training, inventory, ordering, and financial management. Ensure that all food and beverages served meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve customer service, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Monitor and analyze sales and profitability data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Manage and motivate the kitchen and front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain a safe and clean work environment that meets all health and safety regulations. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Requirements:
Management experience in the restaurant industry preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of restaurant financial management and budgeting preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
