SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating all Catering and Event Operations at our private country club. Ensures the highest standards of food and beverage services for members, banquet sponsors, and guests, consistently exceeding their expectations. Collaborates with the Chef on menu changes, presentation, and special requirements. Facilitates a cohesive environment, integrating all aspects of Clubhouse operations. Hires, trains, and supervises subordinates, working closely with the other Food and Beverage Managers and Food and Beverage Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Oversees all dining, catering and event operations, ensuring flawless execution from planning to completion, including logistics, setup, service, and breakdown. Inspects all dining and event venues for correct appearance, cleanliness, and safety of areas, equipment, and fixtures. Supervises Food and Beverage staff to meet or exceed the club’s standards for all events. Receives and resolves any conflicts or complaints from members and guests regarding their dining or banquet experience. Maintains the dining reservations accurately, ensuring proper protocol by hostesses and receptionists. Provides exceptional dining and event experiences for Club members and guests, including facial and name recognition of members. Understands and meets financial metrics for successful food and beverage operations. Develops and implements consistent onboarding and training programs for all food and beverage personnel, including SafeServ training. Updates the Point of Sale system as needed and utilizes data for reporting purposes. Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Catering Experience
