Job Summary:

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in store operations, supporting the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day activities. You will be expected to ensure every customer has a 5-star experience, orders are accurate and high quality, staff are well-trained and motivated, and operations are running smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure order accuracy, quality, and presentation meet company standards Deliver exceptional customer service and handle any service recovery as needed Assist with training, coaching, and developing new and current staff Drive productivity, speed, and efficiency across all shifts Monitor and improve sales performance through upselling and team engagement Conduct inventory counts and manage supply ordering Perform daily and weekly bank deposits and maintain cash handling procedures Open and close the store as scheduled Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health/safety standards Lead by example on the floor, especially during peak times Support scheduling and shift coverage in coordination with store leadership Help manage team morale, accountability, and communication Address customer concerns or staff issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a leadership role. Strong communication and team-building skills Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Familiarity with POS systems (experience with Toast is a plus) Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling Valid driver’s license for bank runs
