Kitchen Manager Gnats’ Landing Bar and Grill Statesboro, GA 30458 Job Overview Are you an experienced culinary leader skilled in managing kitchen teams and optimizing operations in a fast-paced setting? We are seeking a highly organized Kitchen Manager to lead all aspects of our kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and building a positive team environment. Your main responsibilities will be to develop and support a strong team that efficiently produces consistently high-quality food, while also carefully tracking food costs to ensure profitability. Responsibilities Lead and Develop High-Volume Kitchen Staff:

Recruit, train, schedule, and manage kitchen personnel to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure a high-performing team. Ensure Efficient, High-Quality Food Production in a

High-Volume Setting:

Oversee food preparation to meet quality standards and implement efficient, high-throughput systems. Manage Food Costs in a

High-Volume Operation:

Implement tracking systems, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for savings to ensure profitability in a busy environment.

Streamline High-Volume Kitchen Operations:

Manage daily workflow, utilize the Toast POS system, and collaborate with other departments for smooth and rapid service. Experience Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in a culinary management role or as an Assistant Kitchen Manager within the food service industry, preferably in a fast-casual or high-volume environment. Demonstrated success in leading and developing kitchen teams, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Strong understanding of food safety practices and health regulations. ServSafe certification is preferred. Experience implementing and managing efficient food production systems to ensure quality and speed in a high-volume setting. Practical experience with inventory control, cost tracking, and basic budgeting principles related to food operations. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., Toast) and their application in managing orders and generating relevant data.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
