General Manager (GM) Charred Oak Kitchen and Bar (Carrollton,GA) 2235 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30117 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at our fast-paced upscale casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, ensure food quality, and maintain operational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment. Training will be conducted in Columbus, GA for the candidate chosen. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to build a strong team. Implement effective shift management practices to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Maintain compliance with food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of both customers and employees. Develop and manage budgets, inventory, and cost control measures to maximize profitability. Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute special events or large orders. Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee engagement. Address customer complaints or issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor industry trends in hospitality, coffee service, and food service management to implement best practices. This will be a working position. During the busy times you will be working in position as Expo and in position on the line as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service fast food restaurant management or similar roles. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Experience in bartending or catering is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
