Job Description
CMA Assistant Pool Manager 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Newnan, GA 30263 Monitor pool area to address issues involving employees and residents. Assist in interviewing and hiring new staff members. Train and mentor new hired employees and facilitate continuous training for existing employees. Ensure the maintenance of the pool area and oversee employee performance. Inform the Pool Manager if additional documentation or equipment is required. Assist in preparing the pool for seasonal changes, including cleaning and managing pool deck furniture. Ensure employees have the necessary resources to perform their duties. Be prepared to respond to any escalations or emergencies, documenting all incidents thoroughly. Aid in general pool and pool area maintenance, notifying the Pool Manager when necessary. Welcome and register pool members from four neighborhoods, consisting of approximately 615 households, and resolve issues promptly. Enforce pool rules to ensure the safety and satisfaction of pool members, guests, and employees; maintain a positive attitude. Purchase, organize, and sell food and beverage items. Monitor and maintain chemical levels and cleanliness of both the 100,500-gallon and 2,700-gallon pools. Coordinate with the Pool Manager on the online registration for pool cards and collaborate with employees to create and distribute pool cards to eligible homeowners. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to swim. Minimum age of 18 years preferred. Must be responsible, honest and reliable, and able to attend work on a regular basis. Must be practical and stay calm in an emergency. Must understand safe working practices as well as health and safety regulations. Must pass the Drug Test. Must pass the Background Check.
Payrate:
$16 – $18 per hour based on experience
Requirements:
Physical Requirements Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed. Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone. Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 40 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. This position will require working outdoors in a shaded setting with variable climate, temperatures, and lighting. Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills. Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
