Role:
The Studios Brookhaven is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Assistant Studio Manager to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with families and children (ages 3+), takes initiative, and thrives in a client-facing role. You’ll help maintain smooth weekend operations at our studio, support special events, and contribute to our vibrant community that values both excellence and creativity.
Responsibilities Include:
Arrive by 8:30 AM Saturdays and Sundays to open the facility and prepare for 9:00 AM classes. End at 4:30 PM after shutting down and performing end-of-day tasks. Perform light facility prep (lights on, cleanliness check, etc.) Act as front desk manager during classes and circulate through the space every 15 minutes Complete administrative tasks (as assigned on Fridays) such as: Updating spreadsheets Creating materials in Canva Communicating with clients Support Saturday birthday rentals by: Assisting host families with setup and check-in Ensuring themed party decor is in place Overseeing cleanup (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.) Wear a company shirt/sweatshirt and uphold The Studios’ core values Maintain a warm and welcoming environment for all families, students, and guests
Requirements:
Proven experience in client-facing roles Friendly and confident working with families and children ages 3+ Comfortable with light cleaning duties Strong organizational skills and reliability Positive attitude and team mindset Availability every Saturday and Sunday; time-off must be pre-approved Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (W2 employment – taxes withheld)
Compensation & Perks:
$17.50/hour to start ($280 per weekend) Eligible for raise to $18.50/hour after fall semester and $20/hour after one year Additional hourly pay for helping with special events like Parents Night Out, community parties, recitals, and holiday camps Complimentary access to studio space and music rooms (when available) Join a welcoming, arts-focused team active in Atlanta’s theatre and dance scene
