Professional Development Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of banquet food preparation and presentation. Develop customized banquet menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, sales team, and clients. During non banquet heavy times must be able to assist and manage the transient volume of the location(s). Supervise and train banquet kitchen staff, ensuring consistency, quality, and timeliness. Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP, local health regulations). Manage food and labor costs within budget while minimizing waste. Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of the banquet kitchen and prep areas. Communicate effectively with the event coordination team to meet specific client expectations and timelines. Stay current with industry trends and innovate banquet offerings accordingly.

Qualifications:

Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on banquets or catering. Strong knowledge of international cuisines, plating techniques, and large-batch cooking. Proven ability to lead a team under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by events.

Physical Requirements:
