Assistant Service Manager Central Atlanta Tractor Sales, Inc. 4240 Martin Luther King Jr Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30336 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our heavy field service department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and managerial skills to ensure the efficient operation of our service team while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the field service department, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Manage and mentor service staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience. Coordinate equipment diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services for vehicles. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Collaborate with sales teams to promote service offerings and drive business growth. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and diagnostics is essential. Background in construction equipment is mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in diesel engine repair, hydraulic and electrical systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to support both internal and external customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
