We are looking for Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM)to joinour team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and weare looking for more. The RAM supports the Restaurant GeneralManager in their efforts to develop a team of dedicated people,delivering great and friendly guest experiences and producing topline sales. They do this by learning, managing and teachingrestaurant systems effectively to achieve goals, develop people andprovide excellent service. RAM’s bonus on performance, bothoperationally and financially.
Job Duties:
- Ensure your teamprovides outstanding service and satisfied guests.
- Train andcoach the team.
- Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a greatrestaurant every shift, every day.
- Implement restaurant controls,especially cash & inventory.
- Set and meet restaurant goals forservice, operations and financial results.
- Meet all operationalstandards, including speed of service, food safety and cleanliness.
- Meet positive food and labor variance and take appropriate actionto improve results.
- Maintain a clean and safe workingenvironment.
- Work all shifts (breakfast, lunch, dinner, latenight & weekends) as required by the business.
- Set an example bymaintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level ofproficiency in restaurant operations.
- Provide coaching andfeedback to the team.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Follow all government regulations, employment laws, food safetyand operations policies and implement all accounting controls.
- Any / all other duties as assigned by the Restaurant GeneralManager (RGM).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform thefollowing motions: bending, squatting, twisting, pulling andreaching Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures Ability tostand for 8-10 hours Ability to lift up to 20lbs
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retailsetting
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able toperform under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Must havereliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18years of age & authorized to work in the US
