Job Description
Duties:
Satisfactorily completes the Reynolds leadership training. Maintains a good attendance record. Processes banquet functions through point of sale accurately and follows all paperwork procedures. Supervises proper service standards in all banquet functions. Assists and supervises all set up/break down of all banquet functions. Communicates any room or vehicle maintenance needs and follows through on completion. Attends weekly BEO meetings. Coordinate and communicate all pertinent information between Assistant Banquet Manager and banquet staff. Practices thorough planning through designated set-up planners, priority sheets and checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensures the correct and timely set-up of all banquet event orders. Communicates personnel needs, problems or suggestions through captain’s reports and daily logbook entries. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space and storage areas to include the carpets, walls walks, doors, windows, lights etc. Follows proper service standards consistently. Enforces uniform and hygiene standards established by Reynolds. Assists in the orientation and training of all of all new employees. Supervise staff on all aspects of job performance. Participates with the documentation of staff performance, award, counsel and discipline as needed. Enforce company policies and procedures amongst the staff. Conducts daily line-ups of all events with the staff. Refresh of meeting rooms as needed. Maintenance and proper storage of all audiovisual equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years F&B experience. Supervisory F&B experience preferred. Valid GA driver’s license with a good MVR. Can manage 5-10 employees and train effectively. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds. Must have the ability to multi-task and stay focused. Must be alert and observant. Ability to perform well under pressure. Must have a strong attention to detail. Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills. Must be flexible and willing to learn managerial skills. Must be well groomed and have a pleasant personality. Must be able to react and adapt well with changes.
