Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Lawrenceville, our Hilton Tapestry Collection property (THE Lawrence) will be more than just a hotel—it will evolve over time, into a local landmark, meeting place and “watering hole”. Designed for travelers who seek unique experiences and personalized service, the hotel blends Southern charm with modern elegance. As a vibrant part of the community, we attract guests looking for authenticity, culture, and unparalleled hospitality. The Lawrence is currently being constructed and will open in 2026.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly strategic General Manager to lead our distinctive hotel. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality leader with a strong background in sales, food & beverage operations, quality assurance, employee engagement, and most importantly, guest service and loyalty . This role requires a unique blend of visionary leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for exceptional service delivery. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with ownership, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) , and local city officials to develop and execute strategic marketing and public relations initiatives that elevate the hotel and its presence in the community. The GM will be responsible for driving profitability without compromising guest experience, leading the property to award-winning performance standards within the Hilton brand, and cultivating a work culture centered on excellence, warmth, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Leadership:

Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to maximize room revenue, F&B sales, and event bookings. Build strong partnerships with local businesses and tourism entities to enhance visibility and market share.

Public Relations & Community Engagement:

Partner with hotel ownership, the Downtown Development Authority , and City of Lawrenceville to promote the property through strategic marketing and PR efforts. Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for the hotel within the local business and cultural community.

Guest Loyalty & Service Excellence:

Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by delivering a service culture rooted in NorthPointe Hospitality Management and Development vision for service and product quality, Hilton’s values and brand promise. Elevate the guest experience through thoughtful touches, personalized service, and continuous feedback loops.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee day-to-day hotel operations with a focus on seamless integration between departments. Maintain full compliance with brand, company, and legal standards.

Food & Beverage Innovation:

Lead and evolve all F&B outlets to reflect local flair, consistency, and profitability. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver memorable dining experiences.

Teaching Hotel & Talent Development:

Embrace the hotel’s role as a ” teaching hotel ,” fostering professional development, mentorship, and collaborate with surrounding colleges. Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in full-service hotels, preferably within the Hilton system or lifestyle/boutique segment. Demonstrated expertise in sales, F&B operations, service delivery, and quality assurance. Proven ability to drive guest loyalty, online reputation scores, and employee engagement metrics . Strong financial acumen with a history of achieving profitability goals while enhancing guest experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
