Assistant Manager The Fork and Spoon 40 East Public Square, Jefferson, GA 30549 Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be the ‘Face’ of The Fork and Spoon. The ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, remember faces/names and regular orders. In addition to being the friendly face, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations in the kitchen. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for inventory control, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the business. Oversee inventory control processes with the ability to plan ahead needs for the week. Oversee and ensure all team members are fulfilling their tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain high standards of in person and phone etiquette when communicating with customers. Collaborate with the management team to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational success. Qualifications Proven kitchen experience preferably in a supervisory or management role. Strong skills in inventory control, time management, staying on task, and customer service. Ability to train and develop team members effectively. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
