We are looking for Restaurant General Managers (RGM) to join ourteam. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we arelooking for more. The RGM leads the operation of the restaurantsand has the overall responsibility for making sure the restaurantmeets GPS Hospitality standards of quality, service andcleanliness. The RGM does not do this alone, as they work with ateam of managers. RGM’s bonus on performance, both operationallyand financially. Here are the top five (5) responsibilities of thejob:

  • (P&L) Hit Your Sales and Profit Budget Every Period
  • (Systems) Execute Accurate Projections and Schedules While WorkingAll Shifts
  • (Safety) Maintain a Safe and Clean Restaurant
  • (People) Hire and Train Service Obsessed Crew and Shift Leaders
  • (Accounting)
Tight Restaurant Controls Additional Job Duties:
  • Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests.
  • Hire, train and coach the restaurant team.
  • Utilize GPSHospitality Systems to run a high-quality restaurant, especiallyaccurate projections and great schedules.
  • Implement restaurantcontrols, especially cash & inventory.
  • Frequent contact, bothinside and outside the restaurant, with the public, business, andvarious community organizations to develop and improve therestaurant’s public relations.
  • Meet standards for speed ofservice, food safety and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate strong criticalthinking skills.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environmentand ensure all equipment is clean and maintained.
  • Work all shifts(breakfast, lunch, dinner late night & weekends) each week. Work atleast one (1) full weekend each period.
  • Set an example bymaintaining an excellent working knowledge and high level ofproficiency in restaurant operations.
  • Follow all governmentregulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies andcash policies and implement all accounting controls.
  • Supervise inaccordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors.
  • Communicateeffectively with all levels of management about plans, progress andproblems.
  • Successfully implement all marketing promotions.
  • Participate in the implementation of company policies, standards,training and management development.
  • Train and develop thecapabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in theareas of management skills and technical knowledge to provide forgrowth.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the followingmotions: bending, squatting, twisting, pulling and reaching Abilityto work in warm and cold temperatures Ability to stand for 8-10hours Ability to lift up to 20lbs

Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years ofGeneral Manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • HighSchool Diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Must be atleast 18 years of age & authorized to work in the US
