Full Job Description Snapshot:
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team to success? The Meat-Seafood Manager provides and is accountable for fresh and appealing products, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt service. As Meat-Seafood Manager you’ll manage the daily operations of the meat and seafood departments while promoting an inclusive environment by embracing the backgrounds and experience of the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach, coach and train meat cutters on standards and trim specs.
- Accountable for fresh meat cutting standards, meat trim, tray weights and ground beef processing and logs. Maintains core assortment and meat case flow-gram.
- Maintains an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and reports any discrepancies in inventory. Reviews/inspects products for quality and freshness and takes appropriate action with those items.
- Ensures company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation and productivity are maintained.
Adheres to all regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to food safety, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) & Country of Origin Labeling (COOL), and Department of Agriculture (DOA).

Meat Cutter Key Qualifications:
- Consistent track record of relative experience (Minimum 3-6 years).
- Knowledge of cutting, traying, wrapping, and labeling.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish as a plus.
Additional Information:
- You must have, or the ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180-days of placement.
