Assistant General Manager (AGM) Flying Heart Brewing & Pub 204 Commerce Street, West Monroe, LA 71291 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage staff and operations. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. Train, mentor, and develop staff members to enhance their skills and performance. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant. Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Support bartending operations when necessary, ensuring high-quality beverage service. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing transactions and reporting. Skills Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant setting. Strong background in food service and knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques. Familiarity with bartending practices and beverage service standards is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to train staff in various roles, promoting a culture of continuous learning. Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient transaction processing. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
