Role:

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Assistant Manager to join our established team at a group home supporting 10 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a part-time role — perfect for someone with experience in direct support, caregiving, special education, or human services who is looking for meaningful, community-centered work. You’ll work alongside the full time House Manager to ensure smooth operations, provide support to residents in their daily routines, and contribute to a warm, inclusive, and engaging home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to residents with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and communication. Assist with meal prep and cooking dinner for residents. Help supervise and manage the house when the House Manager is in meetings or at appointments. Occasionally drive residents to appointments or community activities (valid driver’s license required). Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents’ families and support teams as needed. Help plan and participate in fun, meaningful activities with residents, both at home and in the community.
