Throughout the afternoon and evening, Daily Provisions serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and seasonal sides, in addition to comforting dishes like our slow-roasted Roast Chicken (best served alongside our selection of cocktails, wine, and beer).

Who you are:

The Culinary Shift Manager collaborates with management to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, providing leadership and support to the Back of House team. They oversee the culinary team and program to deliver exceptional hospitality, service, and product execution. They will represent the brand with Enlightened Hospitality, uphold standards and lead by example in all aspects of the operation. You lead shifts to ensure brand standards of service, hospitality, product quality, and back of house systems. You ensure food, labor and operating expenses are managed to your teams’ aligned goals and expectations. What you’ll do: Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality. Demonstrate USHG Core Competencies and Behaviors to deliver exceptional hospitality and service to team members and guests.
Maintain expert knowledge of all kitchen stations and the Culinary Shift Manager checklist.
Operate consistently within the “Daily Provisions Way,” strictly adhering to established systems and processes.
Train, coach, validate, and hold the team accountable for following the “Daily Provisions Way” of operations.
Lead and inspire others to uphold and maintain high standards.
Ensure food is prepared, handled, and served with the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment for yourself, your team, and guests.
Provide continuous support to all back-of-house staff and actively participate in the service as needed.
Make critical decisions to balance high volume with high quality.
Set yourself, your team, and the next shift up for success.
Ensure all back-of-house systems are accurately completed on time and in accordance with business procedures, including the Culinary Shift Manager checklist.

What we need from you:

Completion of our Culinary Shift Manager training procedures and final validation.
Motivation, commitment to excellence and a spirit to learn!
Ability to accommodate and adhere to a flexible schedule.
Critical thinking skills.
Any required food handlers’ certifications.
Great verbal and written communication skills, ideally in two or more languages.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds. What you’ll get from us: Competitive hourly pay range of $23
