Restaurant Manager 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 70 Market Place Drive, Waltham, MA 02451 Business is booming and Jake n Joes is looking for a Manager to join our team in Waltham. Do you have a love of Sports, music and a fast pace environment? We are looking for Mangers who will deliver high-quality leadership and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Manager responsibilities include ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need previous supervisory or management skills and experience in the front of the house in a Full-Service Restaurant or Bar setting. We want you to help oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, during your shifts you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences. Responsibilities Help coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints Organize and supervise shifts Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads) Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations Skills Proven work experience as a Full-Service Restaurant Supervisor or Manager Proven customer service experience Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and POSI is a plus! Strong leadership, motivational and people skills TIPS Certification is a plus Serv Safe Certification is a plus. Enjoy a 40-45 hour work week and generous Bonus Program!
