Launch Leominster is a safe and fun indoor family entertainment park in Leominster, Massachusetts. We are looking to hire a few more key roles to continue to make this park a smashing success. Launch Leominster Family Entertainment Park is everything a kid could dream of; a 32,000 +/- sq. ft. facility with a trampoline park, an arcade, VR simulator, ninja warrior course, 8 lanes of bowling, XP Arena and more! The Assistant General Manager role is the main interface between Launch Leominster and the two most important groups of people – the patrons and the employees. This role is a vital part of the success of Launch, so we are looking for a team player who is a self-motivated individual ready to make a difference in the Leominster community. The ideal candidate should have a fun, friendly and outgoing personality with the goal of creating the best possible customer experience. The Assistant General Manager also works with the General Manager to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, service quality, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

:

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
• Scheduling and monitoring staff levels according to need
• Inventory management and ordering
• Event planning and coordination
• Opening and/or closing the facility (pending schedule)
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner :
• Monitor the workplace safety program
• Supervising, training, and working with staff
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times, along with resolving customer complaints
• Assist in achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through the training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
• Oversee the safety of all customers and staff
• Supervise and participate in jump area, kitchen, bar, and cafe area cleaning
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the facility’s preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure that all inventory items are ordered and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the facility’s receiving policies and procedures
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the facility, employees, and guests
• Perform any other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by the

General Manager Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer facing / customer focused job (entertainment, recreation, or restaurant business preferred, but not required)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and scheduling a staff of employees (25-30+ preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• A strong knowledge of POS systems

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
• 40 hours per week
