Deli Manager S&S Marketplace 307 West Boylston Street, West Boylston, MA 01583 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to work side by side with staff and help oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food production, exceptional customer service, and efficient team management. This role requires a strong understanding of food handling practices and the ability to manage a small staff while maintaining a positive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage food production processes to maintain quality and freshness of products. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist in training and development of deli staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to health regulations. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

Skills POS Use:

Basic operation of POS system and knowledge of bagging groceries.

Inventory Management:

Experience with ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction.

Product Knowledge:

Familiarity with various deli meats, cheeses, salads, and prepared foods.

Equipment Proficiency:

Ability to operate and maintain deli slicers, scales, and other equipment.

Food Safety:

Strong background in food production with knowledge of food handling practices.

Customer Service:

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.

Leadership:

Ability to work collaboratively with others while providing support to team members as needed.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience:
