Job Summary Join our high-reaching team at CulinArt as a Senior Chef Manager, supporting the food service operation at North Yarmouth Academy! This outstanding opportunity allows you to showcase your culinary expertise within an elite, multifaceted environment. Working as the Chef Manager Senior you will be responsible for back and front of the house operations for the food service departments. You will maintain a quality culinary program and process all financial reporting. Duties also include menu development, inventory, purchasing, labor and food cost controls, maintaining sanitation standards, and personnel management to include hiring, mentoring, counseling, training and developing.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervises operations in compliance with organizational policies and laws + Engages in employee meetings and training programs + Coordinates safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs + Controls food costs while ensuring outstanding quality + Actively leads team development + Handles purchasing and inventory controls + Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience + Five years of dynamic culinary management experience + Self-starter with innovative multitasking abilities + Maintains a positive demeanor under pressure and motivates the team + Passionate about excellence + Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and accurate food storage + Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation + P&L and financial reporting expertise + Strong understanding of budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls + Leadership, mentoring, and training skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Outstanding business etiquette and client relations + Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs + Adheres to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior + ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus Apply to CulinArt today!
