Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager will be an integral part of the leadership team at Tin Roof, which features multiple levels and/or floors of entertainment, each with their own stage, vibe, and music lineup. This position will oversee daily operations to ensure the location exceeds expectations in guest service, entertainment, and team member performance and development to ultimately ensure the business is profitable. Based near the location and reporting to the General Manager, this position will build collaborative relationships with all crew members and maintain a positive work environment. Applicants should have a passion for hospitality, live music, and enthusiasm to grow alongside Tin Roof.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:
- Execute daily operational systems alongside the crew, including bar and food service, entertainment needs, and special events and promotions
- Manage all FOH inventory & support BOH inventory needs in partnership with the leadership team
- Create and/or review schedules for FOH and BOH
- Complete all opening, closing, shift duties, and other duties as assigned 2.
Leadership:
- Lead and maintain communication with all crew members to provide updates on operational updates, events, promotions, etc.
- Work alongside the leadership team to review comps and voids to increase profitability
- Motivate and engage crew members through building collaborative relationships, running contests, and other strategies
- Contribute to activities, planning, problem-solving, policy development, and discussions as a key member of the senior leadership team 3.
Training & Development:
- Act as the location lead for crew member onboarding, training, and development
- Conduct regular trainings for food and beverage suggesting selling, steps of service, etc.
- Manage and maintain 100% crew member completion of all required trainings for compliance, local/state regulations, industry certifications, etc.
Qualifications:
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role with a deep understanding of how to effectively manage and mentor a team that delivers an amazing experience
- Extensive experience in the bar & restaurant industry, including experience as a bartender and/or server
- Exceptional ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish collaborative relationships with internal crew members and external business partners
- Effective problem solving, discernment, and decision-making skills to manage operational needs and issues
- Availability to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays
